Default Mustie tackles a Concession Kart

Another of his ‘Will It Run?’ series.

An hour long video you say? Too much for some, sure, but it’s neat to see an in-depth inspection, repair and commentary about one of these amusement park workhorses. Take note of the design of the steering spindles. That’s pretty darn clever and it's off-the-shelf and a fairly low cost alternative to a “specialized go kart part”. ...also guarantees the steering will be low friction for the youngsters.

Honda GX160, 5.5 HP, gear reduction and the usual cogged belt final drive. A real track BEAST!
