Default 222cc predator build

I知 building an open motor for one of my best friends, it値l be stroked .080 and have a 2.795 bore making it a 222cc. We池e purposely pushing the envelope with this one as it値l be on 25% nitromethane and 75% methanol to see if the block will take that kind of cylinder pressure.
Specs are
.040 overbore
.080 over stock stroke
Wiseco 2 ring piston .490 wrist pin
ARC 3.595 billet rod
14 cc fully ported 32/27 head
Unknown cam with .298 lift
1.3 roller rockers
Chromemoly pushrods
NR racing 390 carb adapter port, matched
Highly modified GX390 carb
ARC billet flywheel

I値l post pictures later tonight. I知 waiting on the new crank and I had the block decked .020 so I知 waiting for it to come back from the machine shop.

You've gotta name it "Triple 2s"! Or something!
This is gonna be wicked, I just wish I had that kind of money to do nutty builds like these!

Can we see how it'll do on gas first?

Nope, the carb is already built and tuned on my motor on my race kart.
This is actually for one of my best friends for his race kart. When I took it apart it had a 22cc 25/27 head on it and the piston was .080 in the hole which was what prompted decking the block and the stroker crank.

I知 thinking it should be the triple Duce and a quarter because of the 25% fuel.

Pictures of the valves, the adapter after port matching, the carb which I thinned the throttle shaft and screw, and tapered the air bleed holes and choke area on the air filter side. It should be a smooth flow from the air filter to the valve.

We race in the same class, and to be honest, I知 not real excited about having to race it. This guy is 75 years old and has raced sprint cars his whole life, so it goes without saying that he痴 a wheelman.

So if this build goes well, will you be doing one up for yourself or will this just be a one off? If nothing else, this will be a great thread for people to read later on if they want to build one themselves.

The engine that I’m running now is very similar to this except for stock bore and stroke and 15%, I’m building a big bore stroker with the new tillotson 72mm bore reinforced block, +.175 super alloy ARC stroker crank, and the best parts available. I plan on running it on 30%. I thought everyone might enjoy watching this one, so I’ll post the build. I’ll probably post the build of my new one too, but I’m still gathering some pretty expensive parts so it’ll be a little while before I get started on it.
