Default Where Can I Get A Small CV Joint?

Hi folks!

I'm building a kart with double wishbone suspension from scratch for my younger cousins.

Not being based off any kart out there, I'm having trouble finding light-duty CV joints for my single wheel-driven rear axle. For context, I'm using a Briggs and Stratton Junior 206 at a low state of tune (~3hp).

I've done some forum searching and googling, but most listings are for complete CV axles, or CV kits for existing karts. Most of them are for karts much larger/powerful than mine, and I feel are needlessly heavy.

Any thoughts or sources would be welcome!

I'm curious what the reasoning behind building a one wheel drive full suspension go-kart is? Typically terrain that requires full suspension is not too friendly to one wheel drive karts.

Would U-joints be out of the question? There is likely a much larger selection in the size you're looking for.

Hi anickode!

Wanted to teach the cousins about suspension design, and wanted to save weight on the drivetrain. The kart won't be used on anything other than (relatively) smooth tarmac.

I did consider U-joints first, but as I understand, they are extremely lossy. It's also my first time using a CV joint, so I'd to learn how to integrate one.
