Default Clutch Bolt Size for a 2.5hp Briggs and Stratton

Hi guys,

Building my first go kart while the kids are off from school. I was able to find an old 2.5 hp Briggs and Stratton engine (very similar to http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocum...7hAxB91ObQ.pdf). I purchased a clutch that fits perfectly. But I don't know what type of bolt would fit in the shaft to keep in place, does anyone know?

Thanks,
A

The shaft is probably not threaded. You might need a clutch with set screws.

Right, I thought maybe there was gunk inside but Im thinking it might not even be threaded..I'll take pictures in the morning and edit this post.
