So my neighbor told me he’d sell me his predator hemi 212cc for $80. It has a torque converter 30 on it but not sure if it’ll come with it. I know he hasn’t put more than 150-250 miles on it and idk if he got it used. He also said he was going to get a non-hemi. 1.) Is that a good price? 2.) What is the benefit of a non-hemi? is it more mods? 3.) There was a governor limiter spring or something on it that prevented the throttle from being depressed completely, if that is removed will it shorten the engine life?
Unfortunately my parents told me I can’t get it until I finish fixing some other projects. |

If it comes with the torque converter it's a great price.
If no torque converter, and the engine is basically stock, I would just fork out the extra $20 and get a new one when they go on sale at harbor freight. That way, you know it hasn't been abused or neglected. |

Thanks, I know he hasn’t abused it but I get your point. He also has a straight pipe but I’m not sure if it’ll come with it.
I’m curious as to why he’s switching though… |

Going to guess... Might have bought some upgrade parts... Then found out they won't fit his hemi engine, but the regular one...

Thanks, he said he wanted a better engine so that’s a possibility.
