Stock rod over revved..

the reason why we ask to install billet con rods as soon as you rev more than the stock valve springs allow for

Yes, the standard connecting rod wedged at the bottom, and broke. I installed an intake valve 27mm camshaft with an increased lift of 1mm. Raising the power connecting rod could not resist. Need to put the rod ARC.

That sucks, but it could have been worse (rod hitting you on the way out). At least you weren't injured. But the block is done. The rod took out part of the cylinder and cracked the sleeve, from what I can see. And the crank looks pretty bad.

I recently ordered the ARC 6270 and aluminum valve rods (OEM honda gx200 ut2).
