Default just bought my 1st kart - yerfdog spiderbox 150cc - orange county, NY

i just got my first kart last night. told wife its for my boys ages 10 and 11. But i want to play too.
$375 but doesn't run. Owner said battery dead and gas old so I took a gamble. I dropped it off at my friends shop to get it running. Fingers crossed.
Will start reading up here for ways to improve performance and reliability.

Yes welcome!
The 150cc is a simple engine to work on and parts are abundant and cheap.
The yerf is notorious for front end failure at the ball joints, but plenty of info on beefing it up available.

Yep, another GY6 For any other engine there will be a degree of modification/fabrication needed...
