Default 3.2 hp - 14cc 4 cylender engine

So, as watching youtube, I saw this guy make a custom exhaust system for a tiny little 4 cylinder engine, I saw it and I thought it would be cool to own one, they can't be that expensive. WRONG.

Interesting that someone is building a miniature 4 stroke engine for RCs. Honestly it brings in the opportunity for a mini supercharger. I'll stick with single cylinder 2 strokes for my RCs or brushless.

Although these are built for valve-less 2 stroke RC engines, might be a good option for this. https://rbinnovations.com/collections/super-chargers

wow, those 2 stroke engines are so much cheaper, do you know if they make more power than the 4 strokes?

Those superchargers are the same price if not more expensive than say a Traxxas 2.5R or 3.3R. Usually those run around $125 or so. Thos superchargers are snake oil. The 2 stroke engines for RCs do not have regular valves and so it's just a show piece really. An acquaintance of mine bought one of these superchargers for his Jato 3.3 and it did nothing. He would have been better off going with like an Ofna or maybe shoehorning an engine from HPI or going with different gearing.

It has the power to move like a 1/5th scale R/C but not much larger than that. Majority of the 1/5th scales are powered by 23cc 2 stroke gas engines.

Yeah, even though it makes 3.2 HP, it'll hardly have torque, at least in the karting sense.
PS - Also, HP ratings are usually VERY optimistic.

And even if it was enough, it'll be a headache to hook up the drivetrain, and for $1,400, You could get an advanced Stage 4 engine! Then you get over 20 HP!

For $1400, you could get upwards maybe 100hp from a motorcycle or maybe a snowmobile engine.
