Default Not exactly a go kart

This is my latest project...an old micro midget from the 1980's. It has a Tillotson 212R mounted in the rear. The body parts are not installed yet but are freshly painted black. Should be a fun project to putt around in.

That’s cool. I’m guessing it’ll be a whole lot of fun.

That's pretty cool. Looks like some of these had a 120cc engine back in the 1980s. Then they switched to the Briggs Animal and World Formula engine. That Tillotson will be a blast to putt around with. Did these come with the wing or was that only the quarter midgets?

Personally I'd find an atv cheap for the engine. With these on a gokart you get the fun of a slap shifter, and the addition of a reverse gear. Just look for a sport quad, not a 4wd. It's easier to find a sport with a chain drive.
