My Dad had a Kart in the 60's with a McCulluch direct drive, pyramid intake twin carbs, cast aluminum exhaust. Used to race up here in Canada on some local tracks. I was about 5 the first time he plunked me on it and I was in Nirvana.
Now I'm 62 and about to start building mini-jeeps, tow-trucks and other ride-on amusements for my Grand children. I've collected a few old riding mowers for steering gear, bellcranks, pulleys and such for the builds.
I've built a '63 Falcon ragtop and a '63 Comet ragtop, a '72 Triumph GT6 ( still own them all) so I'm familiar with welding, fabricating, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say you have come to the right place.

Best bet is to start a thread in the Photo Gallery & Project Log subforum or wherever. Post photos of your parts and plans if you've got them.
