So I guess my dad is going to keep his Cub Cadet lawn tractor for me. Has a 16hp Briggs Vanguard V-twin with about 650 hours on it. Needs the valves re-lashed. So basically I now have an engine that I can use for a go kart project for FREE 😁 the nice thing is, on this particular lawn tractor the main PTO runs an electro-magetic clutch for the mower deck, and the flywheel side has a pto that hooks up to the hydrostatic transaxle, meaning I could theoretically put a pulley on the flywheel side for an alternator.
