Seriously, If you're having trouble with a 200cc, single piston 4 stroke don't even think about going anywhere near a small block V8.

I've rebuilt heaps of engines & I too need a manual sometimes, & always a spec sheet.

I've said it before; although they're all built using the same basic principles, all motors are different!

Thanks! You guys are just awesome. There is just one more question, the clone, it is made by jiang dong and is a 6.5hp jf200c. Im looking for some replacement parts for another engine of the same make and model for a friend but I cant seem to find a website for the parts. The jshangai website does not work correctly.

Yeah- good luck with that. Just search for Honda GX200 parts, and 6.5hp "clone" parts. Expand your searching to include "BSP" (Box Stock Projects) "Champion" and whatever else the guys can think of.

I know!!! I feel ashamed. I do have an old Yamaha MZ175 that I got for next to nothing. The carb is totally shot (the jet on the bottom of the bowl was tightened too much and the threads on the bowl are gone). I have been thinking for a while that I should tear into it, but I just haven't had the courage yet. I will probably do it soon though. I just want to try and find a service/shop manual before I do it, so if anyone has a copy, please PM me.

Let's be honest, tearing into engines is anybodies game. It's reassembling the parts that is more difficult. TIP- always take pictures before dissasembly.
Thanks r_chez. I haven't got the carby yet. My sister has posted it, and I was hoping to get it sometime last week, but it hasn't arrived yet. I am hoping for this week. I just hope it hasn't been stopped by customs for some reason.

I always take pics of anything I take apart. It has been invaluable to me many times before. Just rushing in and taking things apart without some plan is just plain ridiculous.... and so many people do it!

I have included a pic of the engine I might tear into soo.

Has anyone ever worked on a Yamaha MZ175 like the one I have pictured here?

I had to wait a long time before I got this one. It is not working at the moment, and the carb is stuffed, but I am going to take it apart soon

I wonder if you could bolt on a clone carb to that? They are cheap and work well, hardly worth fixing yours for the price.

I expect the internals are pretty similar to any other single cylinder OHV motor- clones, hondas, OHV Briggs etc.
