Been absent for awhile working up north and getting ready for a major life change. I will be moving off-grid as soon as my ODSP comes through and currently working on a 60's Amphicat 6x6. Below are the pictures of my progress so far. I hope my sign is good enough battery dead on camera so I have to wait to make a new one, and I have to go help someone put up a metal building this week.

Slowly removing all the rock guard spray and plastic welding all the cracks and holes. Replaced some missing and damaged sections and picked up new shaft today so mechanically its all running now as soon as I have the torque/brake pads replaced.

My cousin had a newer version similar to this when I was younger and what a blast we would cross the river with it, was a lot slower in the water. Great project!!

WHAT? I may have the original blueprints for it coming, guy said he'd email me them. VERY RARE find, hasn't been made in over 25 years so any info is **** hard to find. And TY Poboy its nice to be back. This is a very nice site without the drama.
---------- Post added at 11:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:05 PM ---------- ML thats a T10 transmission from Magna, I have the original B7 from BeeHoo mine is a 67 Amphicat. The serial number says 27 so its the 27th ever made VERY RARE.

Last pic for today Have to make that piece I'm missing tomorrow. Busy Monday and Tuesday I move everything out of garage and reorganize my shelves and have a MAJOR toss out day, getting to where I can't even turn around in there.

1 question, does anyone know how to patch a balloon tire? tire is molded to the hub so you can't remove tire. Tires take 1-1.5 psi of air so plugs won't work. Thinking of patching from outside but not sure how good that will work, new tires are expensive and these have good tread on them still. The only tire I can find that even closely resembles the original is http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/crr-599044/all and can't find an Ontario dealer that carries them. The Canadian to US exchange rate would set them at $100 a piece and I would have to buy rims and adapter plates. Not happy about that.
