If that exhaust really bothers you....come over...and sit through one of my guitar sessions....it will sound like a kitten purring two doors down after that......of course....jet planes are going to sound quieter as well.....and you may need to get some fillings re-tightened.......

People may not believe me, but just this week I ran my Murray with an open pipe, then with the stock exhaust on my Predator 212. Top speed measured with my phone gps was exactly the same for both: 31 mph. The main difference (other than ear-splitting noise) was that it just took LONGER to get to 31 mph on the stock muffler.

A better breathing air filter & better carb jetting will show MORE gain with a free flowing exhaust, but the exhaust alone won't necessarily make more power.

Definitely agree.

Anyone have a good recommendation for a new jet size? I have both a K&N and UNI filter (not sure which I want to use yet)

Thanks Tony. I just figured it out..... My new tablet won't let me do it that way, but I can from this one.....it has a different format or something.
Should have made that video AFTER the engine was warmed up.... After that ride, and giving my wife back her phone, I went off again, for a few hours. I had to stop at a gas station for a refill, along the way. Then I stayed a little closer to the house. I found a good spot to ride. It's a big store parking lot, with lots of tiny gravel covering about 60% of it. I can get up to 40mph behind the building, drifting as I maneuver around dips and pot holes. It's a blast. I'll get some video, next time I ride. I can't hang out there too long. It attracts the thugs.... Last week, I had 2 (or 3... Couldn't tell for sure)guys block me from the the view of the street. Then asked me if I needed any help. Told them, "Nahh, I got it...". The big one in the back seat said, "you know, we could just put that in our truck and be gone..... " so I stood up, showed him the bulge in my pocket, and told him, " on yeah? I'm gonna put holes in all of you, before you get your door open.... ".... The driver realized I was "pulling out my pistol", and his eyes grew to the size of softball...... Then he smashed on the gas and they took off like the little punks they are.....
Next time, I WILL have my pistol..... I think that little ordeal gained me some respect from the criminal life here. Today, I saw a group approaching the school lot were in was riding, and I figured they were coming to "talk to me" or "just checking out what I'm doing"..... They waited at the bend in the lot where I have to slow down...... So I didn't slow down..... One tried to put his hand out, another was yelling something.... As I got to the other end of the lot, I noticed another dude walking into the lot. I thought o crap. I have to go back that way to get out... I sat there thinking. That's when I noticed that the last guy that came in was a thug about my age. He was yelling too... BUT AT them.... Then he &itch slapped one of them, and lifted his shirt, showing them what I assume was his pistol. The punks froze, then he yelled something at them.... They all took off running.... Old skool motioned for me to come closer to him.
I was hesitant, until I realized its the dude that's been watching me ride all morning. I pull up and he says, " you're alright. Don't worry about them no more. I got this. Dis MY block, and ain't no one takin that whip.... Now go on.... Ride that beast.... We're watching out..... " then he turned, and walked back across the street to his house.
I feel better knowing I got at least a few of "them" on my side. I really need to get someone else to ride with. There is safety in numbers.... And not always 9mm or 380........
Ok,
What ever it was.......
