Default Buy a Honda ct70?

This ad has been floating around on my CL page teasing me for the last few days.

http://ventura.craigslist.org/mcy/4293519557.html

Any one have any idea how much I should offer? Obviously it has a lot of work to be done to be restored, but is it worth it? Are parts expensive?

From the ad:
"Maverick / Gemini 2 stroke 50cc. These were sold in the U.S. from 1969 to 1973 Great for parts or restoration. Motor seems to be locked up."

EDIT: He just added the $200 price. I know they are rare, but that seems like a lot.

You know, that looks a lot like JimLL's ( I think it's him) bike. You could part it out for more than that. I'd buy it, after talking him down, or trying anyway. If nothing else, clean it up now put a clone 50-125cc engine.....

its not a honda its a gemini like the ad says. you wont find parts for it unless you swap in a honda engine. Since its not a honda you shouldnt pay the honda markup. Its worth whatever a seized up minibike missing half the parts is worth. definatly not 200$ . more like $75. and thats only if you need or want to sell the parts because thats not gonna be an easy restore

Not me, never seen one like it, but that's a cool mini bike, saw some wheels on Fleabay the other week the same, passed on them because 8" (too big for me)
That would be a great resto or part out either way, you guys get all the bargains !

The guy took the ad down but now its back up. I'm gonna call him just for the **** of it.

I did some research and it is really similar to the Honda z50. Parts on eBay are pretty reasonably priced as well.
