Default Plymouth Prowler Go Kart

https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mc...918327662.html
Found this today.
Here's what the owner said: "Go Kart for sale runs good but needs someone who can fix the brake"
Very specific.
They're asking $500 for it, but if it really does run well except the brake. then I'd say it's worth it!
Who needs brakes anyway? They just slow you down...
Granted, it does have a Tecumseh it looks like, but it's also got a super cool Plymouth Prowler body, a torque converter, and electric start, because you can see a battery next to the seat, which must be for e-start.
Cool kart, I'm just short on money, as always.

The body work seems to be pretty good. But could be a basket case in person.

That is a pretty cool promo kart.

I like the old roadster style bodies too. If you just won the lottery, would you buy that JT?

If I just won the lottery, I would go rethink my life.
If I had the money, I would definitely buy that!
I think bodied karts are totally sick!

The PO of my kart basically said I could put on a fuel line and a pillow for a seat bottom and go for a ride.
Most certainly not the case.

Back in 96/97 dad and I took the 36 down to the grand rod run in Gatlinburg TN, they had a purple on as a display. Brand new, never seen and guess what?

Makes about as much sense as foot tall spoilers on little import "fart cars" with lots of extra subwoofers. *Puzzled Shrug*

never liked the prowler...

but the same company who made that made some other (much nicer) bodies too
a general lee for example
(granted the red flag raises a red flag for very good reason... still a tv show I enjoyed watching back in the days and the kart roof is non existent so I say it's politically correct enough with just the "01" )

And what I like best:
the AC Cobra

So chances are you can just slap on another body from them
(promokartsusa was the mfg IMHO)
