love the front end suspension set up but your rear end axle looks too skinny too small sothing like a 1'' axle should be better.

I'm on my phone does it not let you put them on using a phone. the link comes up but it won't let me add the pics. but any way my plans are a 23 tbucket body from spirit industries. i was going to try doing it myself but figured i wiuld save money buying it cause buy the time i made it out of fiberglass three times and still not be happy with it and th ey make a good lookingone. The streering was the hard purt to figure out i did not want to go over the top of the motor so I'm goung with kind of a sprint car steering i built a steering box to run out the side of the car and then to the front end ill get pics of it later but the gearbox works smooth just waiting on the money to get the body

Welcome to the forum. That's going to be really cool. Tell me more about the frontend. What were the parts sourced from?

Are you using a smart phone? I use an iPhone myself; but figure it is the same for Android users.
If you have a smartphone, install the Photobucket app and create an account. You can then download pics straight to the Photobucket account.
From there, it's simply a matter of choosing a pic in your album, press the info tab (white circle with the italicized "i"), and tapping the direct link to copy.

To post the pic here, tap that icon, above where you type your replies, that looks like a yellow postage stamp with a mountain (next to the Globe and chain link). When the screen pops up asking you for the address, backspace the "http:" to erase it, and paste the direct link you copied from your Photobucket account.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. This is the only way I post pics anymore.

Or without photobucket and just a little editing:
copy the URL of the picture in your album:
http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/album.php?albumid=598&pictureid=3364
paste it to your post.
and then change 'album.php' to 'picture.php'
http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/picture.php?albumid=598&pictureid=3364

add the image tags and there it is:

Is that a trailer spring? Might it be rather on the stiff side for the purpose, or does it really matter as long as it appears correct (form over function)? Either way, very cool.

Yes its a trailer spring and WAY to stiff i am redoing the front spindles like the build off winner did on his with the micro suspension. Hope he don't mind but that was just the coolest thing i have seen in a long time. I have got a steering gear box built for it since i last took pics ill have to get them on

Welcome! Nice project you got going there. What part of MO are ya in? I used to live in DeSoto, by Festus and Crystal city. North of Bonn Terre , right on 61-67 . My oldest brother is still a po-po (police officer) up there....
