Default Building a Kart with my son Engine question

Today I picked up a 125cc motor (suzuki), its a pull start and appears to be missing a CDI box. My question is can I use any CDI box or do I have to find something specific for this engine?

It's the best bet to stick with the original style CDI at least. Try searching Eby for "suzuki 125cc cdi" and see what you find.

pullstart?
likely a LT125 then..

so maybe search for "suzuki lt125 CDI" directly
