Default "Bully Clutch"

Ok, rookie question: What is a "Bully Clutch" and how is it used? I have B/S 8hp motor w/a 1" shaft. Could I use a Bully Clutch in stead of a T/C? Thanks from the old "rookie".

They are a good clutch company...I wish I bought one of those instead of the manual DBR MK1 clutch, back when I went with the craze...
Expensive, but worth it...

They have plates and are able to be customized to what ever youll need. Have interchangeable weights and sprockets....Really nice piece of kit...
Expensive...

I would not use that clutch for regular use. Those are meant for racing purposes only and will burn up under regular use. I would stay with the torque converter.

I had the 1” one and the instructions specifically say race use only
