Hello all,
I just re-accuired the manco duece I grew up with. Needless to say it has seen better days since moving out and starting a family. All I know about it is that it has the 8hp Briggs flathead motor. There's only one sticker left that has the serial number. I know the brakes are seized up and all the wheel's spine. Took cover off the clutch and drive gear somehow the chain came off and throttle cable disconnected. Looking to restore/rebuild this cart as a project for me and my 5yr old son. Already did a big block swap on a golf cart, so have enough knowledge to be dangerous. I know parts for this cart are scarce. However since I'll be swapping the motor my main concerns are the clutch gear box and what type of axle this cart has. So if any body can help identify this cart it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Last edited by landuse; 06-18-2019 at 12:49 AM. |

Hello, I re-united with my old cartfrom childhood and plan on rebuilding it as a project for me and my son. I could use some help id'ing it's exact model to find parts for it. I have pics, and it still has the original 8hp Briggs motor. Also the brakes are locked up. Not sure what clutch it has or axle type( live/trans). Any help would be appreciated thank you. |

Greetings,
That's just a generic serial number; there's no known method of deciphering the model no. or type from the serial number. Show us pics of the kart, and members here will be on it like flies on.. ![]()
