Default Where to go in Philadelphia area

Hello All,

I am brand new to this. My son wants to build a go kart, and truth is I always wanted to also.

But here's the question... once it is built, where can we go to ride it? We live just outside Philadelphia, PA and they are not well accepted by local residents or the police.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Norm.

welcome to the site!

riding on the street is always a tricky situation. In many areas, you can not drive a motor vehicle over XYZ cubic inches (or CC's) on the street without a license, or possibly registration.

It's all up to your area.

In some places, you can do the "minimum requirements" for a motor vehicle and get it registered as a motor vehicle (car) but you'll still need a driver's license.

Otherwise, anywhere off-road is always OK! Parking lots, especially stadiums, are great for this.

best of luck, keep us updated and post anytime!
