Default 17"--18" tall scooter tires

I'm looking for some scooter tires that are 17 to 18" tall when mounted on it 10" wheels 3" wide.... Anybody know what size I should be looking for? The whole tire size thing is confusing... I know a 145/50-10 is about 16"- 16 1/2"..... What is the next size in height? This is for the front of a street only go kart......
Any help or ideas appreciated. I've looked online but no one lists the actual tire height.....

After a quick search, the closest I can find is 350x10 which fits a 10" rim & has a width & wall height of 3.5" (which are referred to as a square tyre)... which should be a total height of around 17" but, I'd call or email to verify...

Well, the second number is a percentage 145mm width 50% of that is a segmented height.
means twice that will add to the wheel diameter.

145mm *1.0 / 25.4 = 5.7" so mathematically that should give you 15.7"

Now if you want even taller tires and are stuck with the 10" rims, you can either increase the width or the segmented height value to get there...

like a Continental Twist available in 110/80 - 10
110 * 1.6 / 25.4 = 6.92 (16.92"...)
a Metzeler ME5 RFC in 100/90 -10
100 * 1.8 / 25.4 = 7.08 (17.08")

a Metzeler ME7 Teen or Continental Twist in 120/90 -10
120 * 1.8 / 25.4 = 8.5 (18.5")

also available in 130/90 -10..... ( the Michelin BOPPER looks nice )

ah well you get the idea
As you can see all tyres are narrower than the one you listed but still taller.
If you want a specific width just let me know, I'll see what's available around here.

'sid

PS isn't it easier for you to buy US sized scooter tyres? like a 4.0-10 (4" wide 4"segmented height->18") [Continental K62 WW RFC for example]
or 3.5" - 10 [Dunlop scootsmart, continental twist , metzeler me1, pirelli p26 etc.pp.]
