Uh oh, a Chinese buggy.

This is kind of the wrong forum. We're all like, 98.99% focused on go karts (Go Karts) and no one knows what that is, besides it being a Chinese buggy/ATV.

Sounds like you have a short somewhere.

BULLS SHIRT (RED AND BOLD!)

Don't listen to him, you are at the correct place
Would you mind to post a pic of the coil and the wires..

since frankly There shouldn't be no ground wire on your coil at all (it should be grounded by the engine case alone IIRC)

Most importantly however: where do the yellow and black come from?
How do you know which one is which?
have you checked or just read some generic online wiring diagram?

Actually im having another problem i fixed it, and then drove it around a bit kindof drove it hard.. and then nothing i stoped and it shut off since then no spark again i tried to do it all again like last time but it didnt work this time.. but yes the ground wire goes the the metal around the coil and grounds to the frame and the black and yellow are power for the coil. But how i wired it out of the CDI, is blue and white go to blue and white from the stator same as the red and black, ground go to negitive on the battery and i left the black and yellow stright to the coil. But same as before ill unplug the power (black and yellow) test it while cranking and geting 12v but as soon as i put it back to the coil and test it while cracking it goes -.3v to .3v and gives no spark and when i check continuity ill put one on the negative battery for ground and touch the power (black and yellow) and it ohms?? Which makes me believe it grounding out inside the coil? Well i bought a new coil and ill post update
