Finally got some time. Kart is disassembled. Actually, the frame is better than I thought. No big surprises! I have had a lot of help from a couple of vintage kart racers. One guy in particular. For example, how to disassemble a Hegar hub w/o the wrench. I'm saving and reusing everything that I can. Axle is crap. Somebody cut it short (different lengths on each end at the step downs) so you can't fully thread castle nuts on it and use cotter pins. One spindle is bad. New axle and spindles on the way. More to come....
