Default GY6 Motors & Mud

My son has a Hammerhead GTS 150 and loves to ride in the mud. He has made a huge mud track. But I cant seem to keep mud and out of the cooling fan intake. Even away from mud, it sucks grass and leaves into it and clogs the intake. Do they make some kind of guard for this, or is there some better way to do this other than stopping every 5 minutes?

Or make a snorkel that goes up high with pvc or plumbing materially that way it still has air that it needs to keep it cool.

Maybe some diy fenders/wheel tubs to catch the debris?
