Default noob question.

ok, ive had tons of trouble buying brake bands. i have a 4in brake drum. so do i get a 4 in band or a 4.5 in band. and right now i have a rod brake system, should i change to cable.

is cable or rod better?

Have you tried here? 4" brake band
Rod is better IMO. Doesn't stretch or wear out.

ok so rod is better but. what aboutr sixe would i want 4in or 4.5in?

i have 4in drum

Mine came as a set. 4" drum with 4" band.

Or upgrade to disc brake
