bought a 6.5hp grayhound and sometimes it dies seems like in corners mostly bumps really have no effect. yes it has gas in it

the reason for this is probably the low oil indicator, which automatically kills the engine. you can either disconnect the yellow wire located by the kill switch, coming out from the engines crankcase, or removethe low oil sensor completely. the only advantage of removing i can think of is that you then get more oil space.

did you put a full 1/2qt of oil in it?
my main seal leaks like a sieve i know it's time to add oil when it dose excely that add some oil and keep the sensor connected |

The low oil sensor is more for stationary use engines. If it's an off-road kart, it's probably going to cause more problems than it helps. You should be checking your oil every time you plan to run the crap out of it, (Every time you pull the starter cord??

yeah, when i went over a big bump, or up a hill, it killed my 6.5hp clone. just disconnect it, and check your oil.
