Default Tire sizes for an 8" rim?

I may convert my kart from 6" rims to 8" ones when I do the live axle. It seems to be cheaper to go that way. I can buy 8" tires locally, I cannot get 6" ones without ordering them in.

I would only have to buy hubs for the live axle. I can probably get two rims for free.

What tire sizes are available for 8" rims, like your standard run of the mill 8s, not the racing rims.

Wheels like these

I think the 4.80-8 tires, like in the photos above look stupid on my go kart. So I'd like to find some lower profile tires.

We had a similar thread here awhile back, I'd searched the net a bit and only found sizes similar to your pic above for that thread. You might spend some time searching through this link: http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...file+8%22+tire Meyby you'll dig something up made for a speical aplication.
