Default 1970 Car Craft Mini Dragster Mickey Thompson Creation

I got a bunch of old car craft and hot rod mags from 1968-74 at a flea market a few years ago and found this mini dragster made by the great Mickey Thompson for $395 back in the day. I was thinking about making one very soon. It had a 3hp Techumseh on it with a top speed of 20 or so mph. Who's up for easy build? Slap a modded engine on this one for a wild ride.

Looks pretty cool, though I'm not sure how I feel about the drive gear that close to the goods.

It says heim rod ends ties the moving parts together. In another pic of under the seat it has a sprocket gaurd welded in place that I didn't notice before. So no berry damage...Strap your hella motor on this one Tyler..WWEEEEEEEEEEEE

Now imagine one of those "flywheel explosions" that we've had multiple discussions about.

It would do something like this and wouldn't go nowhere. Now on the other hand I do have a kaw 650 4 cyl. that might fit on there somewhere......

It's a page and a half ad. I wish there was more.

Looks pretty cool. I think if you put my engine on it you'd end up killing yourself.

You wouldnt be scared on that with my dragster motor in it? Well for one it would just blow a cent clutch to peices the second you layed your foot into the pedel. Then we'd have red hot flying clutch peices right towards your well.....

Very Nice.....

Although if its doin wheelies with a 70s model 3hp Tecumseh motor.....I imagine it would literally fly with a motor on it like tylers
