Don't forget the Powerfist from Princess Auto! I honestly don't know if they are sleeved. I did the governorectomy, but did not look for this...

They likely do. Champion is one of the best clones available, from everything I have heard (or at least in Canada). You probably noticed that they are priced higher. According to the company, they are built overseas but to North American quality standards.

EDIT- Yes they do have a cast iron cylinder sleeve- I just visited the manufacturer's website. http://www.championpowerequipment.com/engines/66504/

EDIT, FWIW-
"Champion Power Equipment is a US owned and operated company with manufacturing facilities in China. We stand head and shoulders above our competitors by our commitment to quality throughout the engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing and customer service processes. Champion Power Equipment -

Yeah all clones as far as I know have a cast iron liner. Otherwise they wouldn't be a clone They would also require different pistons and rings (chromed or something like the briggs kool bore)
The champions are really good quality. They use a different, better rocker system- a 1:1 shaft mounted system. Great motor.
Check these vids-

Cool, I am glad, cause I spent good money on it. about $160CAD total.
It seemed well built and I havent had any problems with it. A few years ago, when I first started it, it fired up right away on the first pull.

Interesting vids by them aswell, just visited there channel.

In Canada, the Canadian Tire offers the RATO engines. They are from the same factory as the Predator engines and offer cast iron sleeves.

No kidding? What province? I have never seen an industrial engine for sale at CTC unless it was attached to an implement.

FWIW- If I'm going to spend that much on a clone, I'm going to go to TSC (Tractor Supply) and get a Champion. I have no idea if Rato is any good as par as clones go...
