Oh buddy, that is comparable to mine, I cut it off as well only to find crooked pipes welded in, now I've cut everything off just in front of the seat, I bet the pics make you feel better about yours now. I'm putting pipe inside new pipe that actually matches the original steel on the frame, I'll grind that weld flush, then weld a 3" sleeve over the new pipe and frame making it triple ply steel at the new seam, and I cut the front end off at the steering axle tube. Still wondering if this should be in the build-off or not, would it qualify?
