I dont know where your located at, but you would be better off with a predator 212 engine if the one you have you cant use, and as far as a clutch or T/C setup that will depend on the kart your...

More then likely your engine with that gear reduction box on it will have a splined shaft, if so you wont be able to use that engine without changing the crankshaft. Have you removed the reduction...

Idle adjustment and could also be the belt or even both idle and belt. To fast idle or belt to tight or a bad driver or driver needing some maintenance. Can cause these things.

Exactly he has a driven for a 5/8 shaft, so he will need a driven for a 3/4 shaft, or change out the jackshaft, a jackshaft kit is probably a little cheaper then another driven unless maybe he can...

Change your jackshaft to a 5/8 shaft, then what you have should work if you have a driver for a 3/4 shaft that is.
