They look somewhere between 35-40mm I.D each. Remember each carb is only feeding a 250cc cylinder in a VERY unstressed engine.

Would you rather have a highly modified engine which makes 20hp, or a stock motor which makes 25hp?
All other things being equal.

Why use a modified engine?

I've been thinking about this for a while and have been wondering about what drives people to use a modified clone/honda/tec./industrial engine/lawnmower engine for a power plant?
