Those are my top 2 sources. I usually try to find a pack of 2 on ebay. The lowest price I have paid so far is $15 for 2 ($7.50).

You should have pretty good luck finding...

If I'm not mistaken, the 390 and 340 have identical carburetors (like the 160 and 200). The difference in stroke/bore/etc. is what varies the power. I am basing this judgement off of the commonality...

I would get a pulse operated fuel pump off ebay, nr-racing, parsons racing engines, or affordable go karts. I like the idea of a plastic tank, though you may want something more robust.

If I'm not mistaken, lawn mower steering is sketchy for go kart use. Also, applying it to a suspension could potentially make it worse. You are not going to fair very well with a rear suspension...
