I have heard that it isn't all that it is made out to be. Don't get me wrong, it is definitely good, but it isn't going to be the solution for everything. And at the price.....

If you have removed the governor, then yes you will need a billet rod with the 18lb springs. The stock rods aren't made for the high revs that will be produced with the governor gone and springs...

Yes! Lets hope its a billet rod :D If it isn't, i would suggest going back to stock until you do. If not, just make sure you don't rev the engine too hard

From that pic you posted, the caliper is just not lined up properly. It actually look skew in between the pads. You aren't going to get full contact with the setup that way

I cannot help you at all with your problem, but I have a Suzuki EN125cc motorbike, and the bike behaves exactly like yours....with the idle staying high for a few seconds (or sometimes for longer)...
