Welcome to the forum.
You've got some nice projects. I especially like the blue Manco, and those Baja's aren't bad either. And what's the story behind the C10?

For me a gokart is freedom. It's the ability to go out and do whatever stupid stuff you want (drifts, hard cornering, 360s, etc.), and not have to worry about damaging a $200 body panel, or...

Yes, an engine output shaft does need a keyway to run a clutch, but most engines come with them. Unless the engine is from a generator (they have tapered shafts). There aren't any clutches out there...

Some people only use the set screws, but I've had too many of them fall out on me, so I use a spacer behind the clutch to get the chain alignment correct (washers work quite well, though it isn't...

I know that the stock heads suck, I'd have them ported a lot before I'd run them. I have been thinking of a set of dart or trick flow heads. Also, I'm not going all out (not enough room in the...

I've looked for a sprocket for one of these. I still haven't found anything other than the originals for a 3/4 axle and 420 chain. At least you have the sprockets, mine came missing the jackshaft...

That or a cowl. But I was thinking of something where the bottom of the air filter sits at the top of the stock hood, with a custom bolt on scoop (something that's taller than most) that'll give it a...

The brakes shouldn't be too hard. They're bicycle calipers as far as I can tell (I've got one similar to yours).

F-150 Project (ish)

Well, I finally got it last Friday. It did cost me $90 for the towing, but the truck itself was free. And here it is.

Champion generator fuel consumption

I was wondering how long a 224cc Champion dual fuel generator (honda clone type) would run on a 20 pound tank of propane? It's rated at 4000 starting and 3150 running watts. It'd be used to run a...

I like my manco's and my ken-Bar. My manco dominator is a fun kart that is easy to work on. And it handles pretty well, and it doesn't torque steer as much as you'd expect from a 1wp two seater. And...

What you have to do is get one of the throttle cable housing clamps from something like a predator (the thing that looks a bit like a C, and has a screw going through it). Install it in the threaded...

I'm not one to laugh, I've run over plenty of other things, for example, my foot, several logs, pot holes, rear fenders, and puddles on a limerock road. The last was on my minibike which had an...

I don't know how it would compare to a bigger kart, but my Carter Bros. drifter (about 5.5 maybe 6 foot long and less than 200 lbs) goes very well with 11x6-6 slicks on the back and 4.10x3.50-6 stud...

Yeah, you've never used a twist throttle before. The trick is to start with your wrist all the way up, so that while you're at WOT, your wrist is almost level (maybe a slight bit down). And see if...

Whatever it is, it looks like a pretty good candidate for a live axle. But for $50, that isn't a bad find. I paid $100 for a manco 415-10 frame that only had 2 flat tires on cracked wheels, and a...
