With the experience I have it also depends on wheel size then depending on that what type of transmission you use (centrifugal clutch, torque converter) and then the gear ratio's used from there.

When I floor it from a medium speed roll the clutch, or that's what I believe it to be, starts clanking. It does not clank if you floor it from a stop or a higher speed roll making me thinks it's not...
