The first thing I would probably do is take the carb off and give it a good clean. You say you adjusted it? What did you do? I am assuming it is a GY6 type engine?

If you don't want to do any big mods, I suggest just going with all the original parts that the kart came with. Then you won't have any problems at all

That is the first thing I noticed too. I had to look o see if there was a supporting pillow block on that shaft extension. That engine puts out a lot of torque and if the shaft isn't supported things...
