I like my spiderbox cause of the suspension - adults fit - and my super dooper really big engine fits. And the initial cost was for free. But I’m way past that point already. Hahaha

If you leave the engine bone stock and gear it right I personally think a genuine comet 44 series will work. NOT a knockoff. And a lighter kart.

My modded 420cc has a 44 magnum and was fine...

I can tell you just by your picture of said kart you do not want a smaller sprocket. You will fry your clutch. Clutch gear size and axle gear will tell me for sure. And tire size.

Upgrades and bracing are done ! Got the new sprocket on, the idler sprocket rewelded on spot, and the bracing to keep the rear carrier from moving done.

The only 2 things that make a kart takeoff upon starting is too high of idle or a bad clutch or torque converter. Nothing else will cause that issue. So it’s gotta be one of those 2 things.

I’m gonna need pics on that one. I own a spiderbox and your tire sizes are way off from factory. The rears are supposed to be 20x10x8 and the fronts are considerably smaller at 15x6x6
