I’ll take some pictures this evening. It’ll be easier than trying to explain it. I have 5 race karts I can use for reference, but I think the comet is more along the lines of what you’re trying to do.

Any port job is better than the factory ports on these. Stock ports are awful.

Yes, In fact I’ve shortened cranks and redrilled them for use with an outboard clutch.
It’s not too bad really, just work slow with plenty of oil.
