Fair point. I am not into 2 strokes so I'm learning. From what I can tell the Briggs would be way easier to convert, though it would not be a simple task either

A 2 stroke doesn't use valves though. It uses crankcase pressure and a hole in the cylinder wall. The piston acts as both valves. There is no camshaft

Based on the trend you sent, kartfab, the 20mm carb should flow 83CFM based on a calculation using those three as points on a graph and making an equation (y=0.5x^2-18.5x+253). Then solving for y.

It does seem like a model 8, but I cant seem to figure out early v. late 8. I am not sure on the sticker because it is pretty degraded. It came off a tiller, but who knows what it started life out on.
