It does take a **** of alot more skill to build one without a welder. He did a great job with that one. Overbuilt even. Id liek to do a no weld minibike at some point

Id say itll be ok. Especially if you have spacers everywhere including inside the wheel and you are able to tighten down the nuts without causing binding problems

I would have put a band brake on the jackshaft but since youve got the disc all setup just go with a hydraulic caliper. you probrobly are warping the rotor with the mechanical caliper. with a wheel...

as long as youre comfortable on the bike. anything with an industrial style engine can be repowered or regeared to suit youre weight and terrain. I wouldnt worry too much about structural integrity...

7/8" isnt a common size local fab shops by me have to order it. 1" is much easier to get. Theyre saying you can bend a 115 degree bend with a 2" radius conduit bender!? good luck with that.

If you dont even have a good drill you certainly dont need a drill press. If you are going to buy one get a half inch drill that way you can do everything. a smaller 3/8 chuck drill is nice to have...

it could be the alcahol or it could just be condensation from sitting or water from washing it as you said. If you have a working breather on it should clear up when it gets hot and burns it off....

It depends how youre axle mounts are setup. If youve got a pretty good sized flat plate you can bolt a 2 bolt bearing mount right to what you have with no welding at all.

this isnt vertical shaft. everything else is normal except the crank and sidecover. its a 6:1 box there is no putting a clutch on that. It just wont work.

id go with a harbor freight 79cc theyre height is only like 9" without the tank and muffler. you will still need a jackhaft if you want to center up the engine but it should do the job nicely....
