So + battery to one side push switch and the other side of push switch to the terminal that activates solenoid. Solenoid has a +battery connection to one side, other side goes to starter....

B) I would personally upgrade to a 40 series
C) You’ll find most say a 6:1 ratio or better, but it’s for belt wear...
