Drift Trike Sleeves

What is too thick of a wall thickness for trike sleeves? I have some 10" black DR11 HDPE pipe. It has a wall thickness of almost an inch and an inside diameter of 8.7"?

I guess the purpose of the sleeves is to minimize friction, so as long as they fit over your tires, it shouldn't matter.

I'm sure if you go hang out on some construction sites, you can probably get any thickness you want. :D

I don't think there's too thick of a sleeve... It's more of finding tire that will fit the bore...

So you must have been shooting some big bore fireworks shells...to use that caliber/type of pipe???...

I work construction so I found a 20' length of this pipe. Weighs around 13lbs/ft.

Can most wheels fit inside a pipe with a 9" ID?

Most wheels that are 9" or smaller could. Gotta measure the OD of a deflated tire to know if yours will fit.

Only thing that will happen as a result of running a thicker wall sleeve is your sleeves will last longer.

HDPE is about the best choice as it is just about the slipperiest plastic you can get from normal sources.

You could drill a bunch of screws into that HDPE and have an ice trike.

ice bike!

If you want to ride around on ice, but you can't find any ice to ride on, make your wheels out of ice! Same effect!
