the only thing that could make that kart design any worse wood be if it was made of metal

I especially like the brake and throttle controls. Pinch the cable ends in your fingers and pull.

I'm really not seeing "well over $500" in parts either.

$50 25 year old garage sale find engine
$225 complete live axle kit from BMI
$20 hand truck tires
$8 pack of bicycle cables from Walmart
A $30 boat seat
$20 worth of hardware
Some scrap wood from the dumpster at a construction site

pRoFiT 08-29-2017 11:48 PM

even my all new parts go kart cost me ~400 plus scrap metal i had on hand.

Yah you dont have free hands on this. it has pull gas and pull drum brakes. you will be using everything you got to stop that thing with your hands. 4:1 ratio!!! full speed at 30+mph sounds like fun

landuse 08-29-2017 11:55 PM

No, I woodn't....

OzFab 08-30-2017 10:22 PM

On soooo many levels, NO!

Wood I build it? NO!
Wood I buy it? At that price, HE!! NO!
Wood I ride it? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

Ebrownie 08-30-2017 11:09 PM

Newly oiled wood? Precise steering control? Vintage collectible rare pristine engine? Premium vinyl seat? 8 ply off road tires? Raw untamed performance and reliability?

She's got all of those things. Honestly even $600 would be a steal.

please note that I assume no responsibility for your injuries if you happen to buy this.:D

robertdjung 08-31-2017 01:16 AM

Yikes. I'd drive it, once, for funzies and then never again.

ezcome-ezgo 09-15-2017 09:27 AM

Dude has gone worldwide trying to sell this:

mckutzy 09-15-2017 11:09 AM

He clearly forgot the rope to steer with...

ezcome-ezgo 09-15-2017 11:15 AM

I believe its a left foot-turn right, right foot-turn left kind of deal. Ropes are for sissys.

Besides, your hands would be busy trying to go and stop.

Bbqjoe 09-15-2017 11:28 AM

I think it would be fun to throttle it up, and watch it go over a cliff.
Maybe even set it on fire first. :D
