22mm Mikuni Carburetor

I bought this carburetor and put it on a honda clone 6.5hp with a adapter,i also put a flattop piston in and removed the governor. Heres the question it seems that the full choke runs the engine at too high of rpm, so i hold it at half by hand. Is there a way to add a half choke feature ? http://www.affordablegokarts.com/mm5...images-006.jpghttp://www.affordablegokarts.com/mm5...0-2007-049.jpg

Welcome to the forum.

Does that choke only feature one detent? Many have two. I can't remember- I think it's actually a starter-enricher circuit, instead of a conventional "choke". If it had a conventional choke plate, you could drill a hole in the plate to allow more air in when closed. Obviously, you would drill a very small hole (maybe 1/16", test, and enlarge as necessary. Since I'm pretty sure it's actually a starter-enricher circuit, I think the only thing you could do is reduce the size of the orifice (jet). I do not know if that's a replaceable part. One thing you can try is warm up the engine, and turn the idle down as low as it will go without stalling. That may help when choked.

You might be able to alter the choke lever mechanism to allow it to hold in a partway position.

I bought it from affordablegokarts.com. And i have no idea what ur asking but it has one screw on the side and another on the bottom toward the adapter side, the choke is on/off
