hi,

Just wondering, and yes i have searched, when attaching a centrifugal clutch (specifically the one below) and i right in thinking that it needs to be locked on by a locking split ring collar. or is the keyway sufficient. Any pictures would be great help.

there should be 1 or 2 allen wrench head screws on the inside of the clutch when you side on to tighten it down or if your motor has a treaded end you will be able to put a bolt on it. I have a bolt on the end of my shaft and also have the allen screw hold it down.{check out kart 2 project}
have to watch out some people dont like the allen screw beacause of scareing up the shaft. hope that helps some.
