Hi all,
I am new to the idea of go karting, and for the time being I don't really want anything fancy, just a little project (little=inexpensive) for something fun to do in my spare time (which I have alot of). My main problem is that I can't weld. Ideally I would like to purchase a frame and assemble the rest of the items - steering, engine, drivetrain, etc. The problem is I can't really find any decent frames to order. Anyone know where I can buy a frame from that would allow me to also buy the rest of the parts to assemble into a go-kart.

I kinda like this design:
http://www.diygokarts.com/kart-plans/frame-1-seat.html

or this one:
http://www.gokartnminibikeparts.com/go_kart_&_minibike_frames.htm
(the first one).

I don't plan on going offroading and would probably want a single wheel drive.

Any help or links would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

Welcome to the site.
Check this out:

It's what I use and works well. About as basic and bullet proof as it gets.
Jumped a curb and almost rolled it without a scratch. I use it mostly for testing different engine configurations.

that looks like exactly was I was looking for. Now I just need to save some money and order the kit. Also doing some research on how the rear drive is put together.
