If anything i'd put the dually's on the back you'll have alot more flotation and traction.I had a briggs 5 or 6 horse on my cart (very simular to yours) before the valve stuck and i removed the governor and it flew.

you should use the rototiller wheels on the back they look pretty aggressive
ironman

they are 3/4 and my rear axle is 5/8 they also have no type of bearing on them but i did think about it.

how did you hook up the duelies? looks like it gets super traction, no wheel spin for you.
ironman
03-01-2008, 09:45 PM
yea its not to bad, but had to change it all because the brake side used up to much room and could not put both wheels on but kept both wheels on the sprocket side. Will put some more pics up after i get it all painted up for my sonand get the rest done on it.

how did you link up your throttle on to your engine? i have the same engine, and the way i have mine hooked up theres a little bit of play so it wont always go full throttle. i have to reach back and play with it to to go all the way.

i used the cable that comes of a rol-tilter ,and bought a few cable hold ends{1.06 each} cut the cable to the length that i needed and hook it together using a slip pin hole bolt{2.99}.Than i had to adjust it were it would stay runing. Now it starts right up no problem have to pull of spark plug cable to turn off. Hookng up a kill swicth this week.goes 25 mph pedal all the way down

slicks ftw. but their just that on anything other than dry asphalt. slick. LOL
i got my $50 engine from a craftsmen tiller, it was from i think the 60s because it was a really old model. ill tell you what though i removed the gov on it and it flew! felt like 35 easily. it burned up the clutch the next day though LOL.
