I need advice

Hi I need advice on an engine. I was thinking of useing a small line trimmer engine with a horizontal shaft, because i do not have any other horizontal shaft engines and i do not have the tools to convert a vertical shaft to a horizontal shaft. What do you think is the max speed a 28cc engine could go and what is the horsepower?

well it really depends on how heave the kart is and what your gear ratio is but it wont go that fast no matter what if its on a kart and it might hit 20 in a minibike

Thanks, I will probably get a 6HP horizontal shaft soon anyway. Although i'm not sure where i could get one?
